REGENERATIVE SKIN THERAPY

Microneedling, Done the Way It Should Be Done

The Refinery pairs the FDA-cleared 1NEED PRO system with Italy's most advanced regenerative serums — PDRN and synthetic exosomes — to trigger real collagen renewal, not just a glide-and-go treatment. Every session is performed by our physician or our RN with on-site physician direction.

What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it.

WHO'S ACTUALLY DOING THE TREATMENT?

Physician-Directed. Every Session, Every Time.

At The Refinery, microneedling is performed by a physician or a registered nurse, always under on-site physician direction. That's not a marketing line — it's how we've structured the practice.

Needle depth, serum selection, and treatment protocol are clinical decisions, and we treat them that way. You're not handed off to an unsupervised technician; you're treated by a trained medical provider working within a physician-led practice.

LIMITED TIME PRICING: $399/session

WHAT MICRONEEDLING ACTUALLY DOES

Your skin builds new collagen because something tells it to. That "something" is controlled micro-injury — a wound response so small you never see it, but big enough for your body to answer with fresh collagen, elastin, and new blood vessel growth.

Microneedling creates that response mechanically: thousands of micro-channels, precisely calibrated in depth, that trigger your skin's own healing and remodeling cascade over the following weeks. Done correctly, with the right device and serums, it's one of the most effective — and best tolerated — ways to rebuild skin quality at any age.

THE DEVICE

We don’t use cheap “skin pens.”

At The Refinery, we use the 1NEED PRO device by Promoitalia — an FDA-cleared microneedling system built in Italy and, as of its most recent clearance, the only microneedling pen on the market backed by two U.S. patents for its safety and precision technology. This isn't a drugstore roller or an uncleared import. It's a Class II medical device, and it's held to the same regulatory bar as the equipment we'd use anywhere else in medicine.

What sets it apart from cheaper devices like SkinPen, etc:

  • NOFLOW® anti-contamination cartridge system — a patented design that keeps the treatment tip perfectly sealed and the skin evenly tensioned, so every micro-channel is created cleanly and consistently.

  • Precise Depth & Delivery calibration — needle depth is set and locked on the handpiece itself, not the disposable cartridge, which means the depth your provider dials in is the depth you actually get, session after session.

  • A high-torque, ultra-sharp motor — cleaner needle penetration means less unnecessary trauma, less discomfort, and faster visible recovery than older-generation pens.

THE SERUMS

Here's what a lot of med spas won't tell you: the needle only opens the door. What you put through that door determines what your skin actually does with the opportunity.

That's why The Refinery pairs every microneedling session with Promoitalia's regenerative skin boosters, delivered directly into the micro-channels while they're open and most receptive.

Nucleoskin — PDRN Regeneration

Nucleoskin is built around PDRN — polydeoxyribonucleotides, purified DNA fragments that your own cells recognize as a repair signal. PDRN doesn't just sit on the skin; it binds to cellular receptors and pushes fibroblasts to mature and get to work, while also supporting new blood vessel formation and calming inflammation. Paired with a low-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and glutathione for antioxidant support, Nucleoskin delivers a plumping, brightening, bio-restructuring effect that a generic glide serum simply isn't formulated to do. Redness typically resolves within hours.

V-Tech — Synthetic Exosome Technology

V-Hacker takes regeneration a step further with synthetic exosomal structures — lab-engineered, biologically identical to the exosomes your cells naturally release to communicate with one another, but built without protein residue or the sourcing and contamination concerns that come with biologic (donor-derived) exosome products. Combined with longevity peptides and NAD+, V-Hacker is designed to improve firmness, hydration, and radiance while helping counter the oxidative stress that accelerates visible aging — cellular-level rejuvenation, not a surface-level moisture boost.

Why What Goes Into the Skin Matters as Much as the Needle

MICRONEEDLING vs. LASER

The two most effective ways to trigger real collagen remodeling in the skin are controlled thermal injury (laser) and controlled mechanical injury (microneedling).

Here’s why we prefer microneedling:

  • Downtime. Laser resurfacing creates thermal damage to the skin's surface, which typically means days to weeks of redness, peeling, and visible recovery. Microneedling creates mechanical micro-channels without heat — the skin barrier stays largely intact, so most patients are back to normal activities within a day.

  • Risk profile. Thermal energy carries a real risk of pigment changes, especially in deeper or more melanin-rich skin tones. Mechanical microneedling is considered safe and effective across essentially all Fitzpatrick skin types.

  • Cost to the patient. Laser platforms are expensive to acquire and maintain, and that cost is reflected in the price per session. Microneedling delivers a comparable — and with the right regenerative serums, often superior — collagen response at a meaningfully lower price point per treatment.
