The Perfect Pairing: Beauty & Glow IV With Your Next Treatment

You already set aside the time. You're already in the chair. Adding a Beauty & Glow IV to the treatment you've booked is one of the simplest ways to get more from the visit.

Your skin, muscles and tissues do their best work when they're well hydrated and well supplied. An IV delivers fluids, vitamins and antioxidants straight into your bloodstream, so your body doesn't have to absorb them through the gut first. Pair it with a treatment that's already working on your skin or body, and the two support each other.

Here's how it fits with each of our most popular services.

What's in the Beauty & Glow IV, and when should I get it?

The Beauty & Glow drip is built around skin, hair and nails.

  • IV fluids to rehydrate from the inside out

  • Vitamin C, an antioxidant your body uses to make collagen

  • Biotin and B-complex vitamins to support healthy skin, hair and nails

  • Glutathione, an antioxidant often added as a push at the end of the infusion

Most guests are in the chair about 45 minutes. Many read, scroll or simply close their eyes.

After your massage

Every massage therapist ends with the same advice: drink water. A deep-tissue session works muscles hard, and many people walk out a little lightheaded or sore the next day.

An IV right after your massage hydrates you faster and more fully than a glass of water at the front desk. You stay in that relaxed state a little longer, and you leave feeling restored instead of wrung out.

With your facial

A facial cares for your skin from the outside: cleansing, exfoliating, hydrating the surface. The Beauty & Glow IV works from the inside, delivering the fluids and nutrients your skin draws on.

Together they make a natural pre-event combo. Book both before a wedding, a holiday party or a photo day, and you get the full treatment, inside and out, in one visit.

With your microneedling

Microneedling creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin to prompt your body's own repair response, including new collagen. That repair process needs raw materials.

Vitamin C is one of them: your body can't build collagen without it. Getting a Beauty & Glow IV on the same day as your microneedling makes sure you're well hydrated and well stocked as healing begins. Your face is left alone, since the IV goes in your arm, so there's nothing extra for treated skin to deal with.

With your Botox

Botox relaxes the muscles behind expression lines. Hydrated, healthy skin over those muscles is what makes the result look smooth and fresh rather than flat.

You can have your IV right after your injections. One detail matters: we keep you sitting upright, not reclined, for the first few hours after Botox. Our IV chairs make that easy, so you can relax without worrying about your results.

What to expect

The Refinery is physician-led.
Dr. Mark Christensen is an emergency medicine physician, and our IVs are started by trained RNs and paramedics under clinical protocols he wrote after you have a consultation visit with him that day.

  • A quick health screen before your first infusion, covering medications and any conditions that matter for IV fluids

  • One small needle in the arm, placed by someone who starts IVs every day

  • About 45 minutes in a comfortable chair, with staff nearby the whole time

  • Complementary water, sodas, and cocktails available.

If you're pregnant, nursing, or managing heart or kidney conditions, tell us at your appointment so we can confirm the drip is right for you.
